Season Paper began as a friendship between two talented students, Julie and Mélissa, who met while studying textile art in Paris. practicing the patience that handmade work requires. Upon graduating, they traded thread for paper and pencil, founding a pattern studio where they drew everything by hand, just the two of them, in a workshop outside the city.

And that's how they still work today. Every pattern in a Season Paper collection starts with inspiration transformed by pencils, pastels, ink, and paint into gorgeous items for living. The collections are designed in tandem, Julie and Mélissa's drawings respond to each other until the right balance emerges, creating everything from jigsaw puzzles to wallpaper, to blankets, to jewelry and, of course, stationery.
